Lending a Helping Hand
June 28, 2008
On Saturday, June 28, the young men of TPH Cottage packed groceries for seniors, served meals and bussed tables at the 2nd Presbyterian Church Soup Kitchen in Spartanburg, SC. The 5 youth, joined by Family Teacher Jim Cornelius and Christian Educator, Finley Sutton, worked from 9am to 1pm alongside the folks of Nazareth Presbyterian Church of Moore, SC. TPH was so inspired by their experience that they plan to make helping out at the soup kitchen a regular part of their mission work.
