A Prayer Devotional for Foster Families

We are facing unprecedented times.

In fact, we have more in common with children in foster care than ever before. You can imagine now what it’s like to be a foster child – without control, isolated from everything that’s familiar. The truth is, we’re all adjusting to life “in the meantime.”

And now more than ever children and families in foster care need our support! Will you join us for a 7-day devotional to support children and families in foster care?

We’re all experiencing this season in very different, yet personal ways. And children from hard places require additional and intentional care to prevent further trauma. Foster families are on the front lines of this crisis meeting those needs with servant hearts, loving homes, and selfless acts of service.

Every May, we recognize Foster Care Awareness Month, and in this season especially, we are reminded, that children and families in foster care need our love, prayers, and support.

You don’t have to be a foster family to help children in foster care. There are a number of ways to get involved, and to kick-off Foster Care Awareness Month, we are activating prayer to cover these families and children.

Together, on May 1, 2020, we’ll begin the YouVersion devotional – God’s Got This: Praying for Kids in Foster Care
