Thornwell’s Child Development Center
Did you know the first five years of life are essential to the development of your child? That might feel overwhelming since the first five years of life are also tiresome and often uncharted territory.
Sleepless nights, learning to eat, walk, and talk… stumbling through the dos and don’ts of parenting. It’s a lot!
But you don’t have to do it alone.
We have been serving children and families for more than 144 years and value family to our core. As part of Thornwell’s mission to provide a continuum of care to children and families, we want to meet you where you are.
That’s why we pour into the children at our child development center every day and walk alongside the families, too. In fact, we spend time goal-setting and even visit the homes twice each year! When families have access to loving support, resources, and care, it can change just about everything.
Trauma-informed staff are equipped to love, nurture, and shepherd your children with individualized care in small group sizes.
Partner with us to build your own thriving family!
Experts tell us that 90% of all brain development occurs by the age of five. If we don’t begin thinking about education in the early years, our children are at risk of falling behind by the time they start Kindergarten. – Robert. L. Ehrlich
