You Can Change a Life This Christmas

It was two days before Christmas when 7-year-old Molly arrived wearing dirty jeans, a pair of worn-out sneakers, and a tattered sweater. One hand firmly gripped a trash bag that held her few belongings, while her other hand clung with dear life to an old, beloved teddy bear.

You can imagine a little girl’s fear of a new place and the unknown on the other side of the front door. This Christmas was not what Molly had hoped it would be.

You remember what it was like to be a child in anticipation of Christmas –the wonder of the season, family traditions, and gifts to celebrate the birth of a King!

Imagine then, being a kid like Molly. Your world has come crashing down and you’ve been separated from the only family you’ve ever known. It’s hard to cope with – even if your home life was difficult, and even if you hurt.

For Molly, the joy of Christmas was a distant dream. She was merely trying to survive the neglect she experienced in her home.

You can change this little girl’s story with your gift of support this Christmas season.

On the other side of that door was the warmth of a loving home and the welcoming arms of her new foster parents who would keep her safe. She could smell the Christmas cookies just out of the oven and see the twinkling lights on the tree. It was in that moment, she would later tell us, that she began to experience her very own Christmas miracle.

It was in that moment, she would later tell us, that she began to experience her very own Christmas miracle.

When you care, kids like Molly get to experience the real meaning of Christmas without worrying where their next meal will come from or if they will have a bed to sleep in.

It’s your support and love that provide food, clean clothes, warm beds, and caring, safe homes to children in need!

Molly’s Christmas included the celebration of the birth of Jesus, a caring foster family, and a much-needed time of healing for her and her biological family.

Will you consider a one-time or recurring gift to help children in need? Your gift will help provide the love that all children need in order to heal from the hurts in their lives and give them hope for a brighter future.

Thanks to compassionate people like you, children like Molly will be loved and cared for – not only at Christmastime but also throughout the year! Have a blessed Christmas season.
