You can give Brandon and Jackson the only gift they want this Christmas – to stay together.
Brandon and Jackson arrived at Thornwell’s Foster Care Village just hours after witnessing the accidental shooting death of their younger brother. With only the clothes on their back and a basketball, they clung to each other fearing they’d soon be ripped apart from each other. With your help, that won’t happen.
You can help these brothers stay together this Christmas.
They’ve endured things that are too painful to mention. Often the boys wondered – where would they sleep at night, who would take care of them, when or would they eat, and would they be safe? Now, in the face of their unthinkable tragedy, separating the brothers not only seems cruel, but incredibly damaging to their mental and physical health.
This is why I’m writing you today. You can give Brandon and Jackson peace this Christmas knowing that they will be together, safe, and loved. You can reflect the love of the One whose birth defines this special season – Jesus!
There’s a real reason Brandon and Jackson fear separation. It’s hard to find foster homes willing to accept siblings or older, pre-teen boys. The generosity of our faithful donors ensures that Thornwell has space in the Foster Care Village for this critical need. Otherwise, these brothers could be sent far away from each other.
Supporting Thornwell means that you are helping to provide food, clean clothes, warm beds, and counseling to Brandon and Jackson, and other children just like them, who need your support more than ever before.
With generous people like you, Brandon and Jackson can open presents together on Christmas morning. Their foster parents already helped them choose a special angel ornament for the tree in memory of their brother. Most importantly, they are going to wake up warm, safe, and loved because you care enough to step in and help.
Passionate and unwavering supporters like you to help keep siblings like Jackson and Brandon together. Please consider a financial gift today to help us provide shelter, food, love, and spiritual guidance to children who are hurting because of abuse and/or neglect.
Thank you for being a caring person who believes that every child deserves a safe and loving home—this Christmas and throughout the year. May you and your family have a blessed Christmas season!
