Thornwell Earns 2025 Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid

This 2025 honor is the highest recognition awarded by Candid, and it underscores Thornwell’s unwavering commitment to ethical practices, responsible stewardship, and transparent operations.

Candid’s mission is simple yet profound: to show where charitable dollars come from, how they’re spent, and why it matters. By earning the Platinum Seal, Candid’s top distinction, Thornwell demonstrates the utmost level of transparency and accountability, ensuring our donors and supporters can continue to give with confidence.

For nearly 150 years, Thornwell has faithfully served children and families across Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina through innovative programs focused on prevention, education, and long-term healing. In 2024, 79 cents of every dollar was invested directly into programs that benefit children and families, a testament to the impact our supporters make possible.
