Big Kids Are Back at School — There’s Still Room for Your Little One at Thornwell CDC

The backpacks are packed. The lunchboxes are ready. The big kids are back at school — and maybe your little one is wondering when it will be their turn.

Good news: there’s still room at Thornwell Child Development Center!

Enrollment is still open for 4K, giving your child a place to learn, play, grow and make new friends this year! Children aged 4 years old on or before September 1 are eligible to apply.

4K Is About So Much More Than Getting Ready for Kindergarten

At Thornwell CDC, we believe early learning is about preparing children for far more than the first day of kindergarten. Through play, hands-on learning, creativity and meaningful relationships, children develop the skills they need to grow with confidence.

This year, Thornwell CDC is excited to introduce a new English as a Second Language 4K classroom because we believe all children deserve the opportunity to learn and thrive.

Leading the way is CDC teacher Diana Perez, a passionate educator who recently received the La Puerta de Esperanza Scholarship through the PTC Foundation. The scholarship is helping Diana further her education and bring even more knowledge, skills and creativity into the classroom.

We are grateful for teachers like Diana who see every child for who they are and help them discover who they can become.
