Foundations of Hope: Celebrating Our Partnerships in 2023 and Beyond!

We are so thankful for the friends and partners that came alongside us in 2023 to care for the children and families that we serve. Because of you, we are able to prevent child abuse and neglect, build up and reunite families, and support healthy communities in the name of Jesus Christ this year and for years to come!

For more than 148 years, Thornwell has stood on the foundation of Christ and the vision of our founder, The Rev. Dr. William Plumer Jacobs. From that day in 1875 when William and Mary Jacobs took in those first orphaned children until now, Thornwell has remained a source of help and hope for children and families in crisis.

As we anticipate another year of impactful service in 2024, I want to express our gratitude for each one of you. Your faithful and dedicated service enables us to sustain and expand our life-changing initiatives on behalf of numerous children and families.

I extend my heartfelt appreciation for your continued service as a member of the Thornwell Team! Your work is pivotal in fortifying the foundation of our organization. Together, we consistently bring about significant positive changes in the lives of those who rely on us.
