You can give Shayla, Ben, and Brooke the only gift they want this Christmas – to stay together.

Shayla, Ben, and Brooke were placed in foster care just hours after their baby brother succumbed to injuries stemming from severe child neglect.
With their few belongings in black garbage bags beside them, they sat on an office floor, clinging to each other tightly, fearing that if they let go, they’d soon be ripped apart.
At just 13, the eldest sister, Shayla, tried her best to soothe her younger siblings, even though she was just as scared. Just like anyone would in this situation, she expected the worst—rejection, homelessness, and separation.
With help, these three siblings can stay together.
In the face of their unthinkable tragedy, separating the children can be incredibly damaging to their mental and physical health. Thornwell offers safe, caring homes for siblings in foster care. Shayla, Ben, Brooke, and other children like them often endure the trauma and stress of separation unless they have a place like Thornwell.
You can give these siblings peace this Christmas! Because of our generous donors, they’ll be together, safe, and loved in a Thornwell foster home equipped and supported to offer the stability they desperately need.
When choosing to give to Thornwell, siblings like Shayla, Ben, and Brooke know they are loved, wanted, and not alone! This is the power of selfless generosity.
Please help lift the burden of unimaginable suffering in the lives of hurting children. There has never been a greater season of need.
Did you know that your giving LITERALLY opens doors to children to find hope and healing? It can – when you join me in making a gift this holiday season.
Financial support helps provide food, clean clothes, warm beds, and counseling to Shayla, Ben, Brooke, and other children like them. They need your support now more than ever. You can be the reason a child feels hopeful tonight instead of hopeless!
With generous people giving, Shayla, Ben, and Brooke will open presents together with their foster family on Christmas morning. Shayla’s been dreaming of a bracelet-making kit. Ben wants a stuffed monkey—his favorite animal. Little Brooke is in her mermaid era and loves all things “Ariel.” With help, the children will be together, knowing they are safe and loved because a supportive community cared enough to step in!
We need passionate and unwavering supporters like you to help children like Shayla, Ben, and Brooke. Please consider helping provide shelter, food, love, and spiritual guidance to children who are hurting because of abuse and/or neglect by sending a donation today.
Thank you for being a caring person who believes every child deserves a safe and loving home—this Christmas and throughout the year. May you and your family have a blessed Christmas season!
